Workers & Resources returns to Steam

Management title Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic has been reinstated on Steam.

Per an update on the platform, the game is now back up for sale having previously been pulled from the service back in February. This was owing to a DMCA takedown issued by a fan called Storpappa, who was demanding royalties for a game mode they claim to have invented.

“We thank you for your patience, support and understanding as we navigated this tricky situation,” developer 3Division wrote on Steam.

“We want to apologise to those who were looking to purchase the game and were unable to. We realise that we underestimated the situation, and it quickly escalated to a point that posed a threat to our game. We greatly wish that this had not been the case.”

There’s no word as to how 3Division resolved the dispute with Storpappa.
