VOTE NOW: The Pocket Gamer People’s Choice Awards 2023 finalists are live

Poet William Cowper didn’t have the PG People’s Choice Award in mind when he wrote that “variety’s the spice of life” – it was 1785, admittedly, so a touch before smartphones turned up on the scene – but he could just as easily been referring to the selection of games that have made this year’s shortlist.

This isn’t surprising given that, as the only category of the PG Mobile Games Awards (organised by our industry-focused sibling site, PocketGamer.biz) that is nominated for by the readers of Pocket Gamer, we traditionally end up with a list of finalists that reflects the glorious mix of the mobile gaming landscape.

Vote, Vote, Vote

And so it is this time around. We asked you to nominate your finest mobile gaming experience of 2022 and you did, in your thousands, just that. Thank you.

But from the 20 titles that came out on top, we now need to work out the winner. When we say ‘we’, we mean ‘you’, of course – this award is all about the players. So take a look through the finalists, hone in on your pick, and cast your vote.

You can think about it until midnight on April 6th. That’s when voting closes – the winner then gets announced at the PG Mobile Games Awards swanky ceremony on April 20th (and we’ll let you guys know here too. Naturally).

Anyway, enough typing. Go check out the finalists.
