It was early evening and there was a little spot of white in the road.
It wasn’t moving, but closer, we could see the heartbreaking form of a little puppy. From a distance, she looked like it was already too late. Neighbors said she had fallen into a drain. Shifting her to our hospital and beginning her treatment, we were extremely worried she would not survive til morning.
Our night caregivers kept her as warm as possible with warm bottles changed throughout the night. In the morning, we would delighted to see her up and moving. Her body temperature remained dangerously low but with an IV drip, medicine and the rising sun, this little girl started to revive.
And within hours, she had become a playful spirit whose mother must have been so relieved to have her little angel home. Sunrise had a close brush with death, but wow, look at her now!
