Telltale Games just put out a tweet confirming that the highly anticipated sequel to the long-awaited point-and-click adventure game will need more time in the world of video game development. Initially, the developers were optimistic about delivering the title in 2023, but it seems that The Wolf Among Us 2 is no longer targeting a 2023 release date.
The Wolf Among Us 2 Needs More Time
In a new tweet by Telltale Games, they confirm that The Wolf Among Us 2 is no longer coming in 2023 which comes as a hit to many gamers who were eagerly waiting for the title, and it seems that a new release date is perhaps out of the scope of the studio.
Unfortunately, this does mean that we will have to wait longer for updates on the game, and considering the game has only been in development for 3 years, with one of them being majorly impacted by the global pandemic, it can be hard to blame the developers on the situation and circumstances under which they worked.
While The Wolf Among Us 2 is one of the most anticipated titles that has yet to get a sequel from the 7th console generation, a little bit more waiting may be rewarding. Only time will tell.
