The Sabrent Rock 4 Plus is one of the best M.2 SSDs you can buy, and it is also one of the best options you can get for the PS5. It has exceptional performance, but that isn’t as important on PS5. That being said, the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus can be expensive. At lower storage capacities, the price per gigabyte is quite a bit higher than the competition.
However, when you start looking at higher capacity variants, the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus becomes quite the value. The 2TB option retails at $200, which comes in $100 cheaper than the Samsung 990 Pro. That’s more than enough room to download some large game files without the need to constantly delete and redownload them.
It isn’t the cheapest M.2 SSD, but the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus still has a lot of value, especially if you look at the 2TB option. Just make sure you purchase a heat sink for it, for which Sabrent also has options available.
