Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Leaks Reveal Details

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming sooner than most people seemed to believe. A recent leak has pointed to the game coming out in Q1 2023, and there’s going to be a lot different this time around.  As the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal is back once again. But he could be a very broken man compared to the hopeful but jaded Jedi from the first game. Being set five years after the first game, Cal’s story is likely to take on a much more robust and possibly dark tone. We’re still deep in the Empire era of the Star Wars canon, so things could get pretty violent for the resurgent Jedi.

The game’s Steam page was briefly populated with the release date, content summary, and pre-order bonuses, as spotted by Wario64 and others. “The Dark Times are closing in, and with enemies new and familiar surrounding him, Cal will need to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him,” reads the page, before it was taken down. But nothing on the internet is truly gone it seems.

The leak shows us that players will be able to take up their lightsabers and rejoin Cal and BD on March 15, 2023 for another adventure.

Other details remain up in the air about the game. It would seem that the PC port has a ways to go in development, as even the minimum system requirements for the title also got purged. But before that happened, we managed to catch a glimpse of a few key details.

We’re still dealing with a PC title that can run on modern machines, but you’re going to need to upgrade if you’re not running a mid-range PC from the last five or so years. If your GPU came out before 2016, you’re most definitely going to need to update, as the minimum GPU is a GTX 1070. If you’re also running low on storage, you might want to get a bigger SSD, as the game comes in at a whopping 130 GB of space. CPU requirements aren’t known, but you’re likely going to need a 64-bit processor and operating system with 6 or more cores to be able to run the game well.

One final tidbit released about the game concerns the collector’s and Deluxe editions of the game. Because it’s an EA AAA title, of course, we get to deal with this stuff again. There will be a basic edition that’s just the game, but also a Deluxe edition. The Deluxe edition comes with even more rewards, such as Han Solo’s cosmetics, blaster, and Luke’s outfit he wore at the end of A New Hope. Finally, those who pre-order the game will get a few cosmetic goodies as well. There’s a Combustion Blaster Set as well as a unique Hermit-themed outfit and saber for Cal.
