Skyrim Mod Adds Dragons From Game of Thrones

Skyrim is a pretty flawless game these days now that it’s been improved upon and released a dozen times, although one area that has always been a little lacking in my eyes is the game’s dragons. Sure, there’s Alduin and Paarthurnax, but the game struggles to make its dragons stand out from each other besides a slight to change to the hue of their skin or what elements they breath. They’re also not that menacing when compared to other dragons in media.

Now, if you want some truly frightening dragons to go up against, the ones from both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon are not to be messed with. If you’ve ever wanted to take one on though, you can do so with a new mod that has released for Skyrim which brings dragons from each series, like Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion, and sticks them in Skyrim for you to find.

The full list of dragons you’ll be able to encounter include the aformentioned Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion, but you can also throw Bloodwyrm, Dreamfyre, Seasmoke, and Blackdread from House of the Dragon in there if you want a really nice mix of killing machines to fight. Not only does this give Skyrim a bit more variety in its dragon fights, it also makes them look a whole lot better too, as modder KaienHash has gone above and beyone to make the meshes and textures from the ground up.

If you fancy a tussle with some big ol’ dragons in your next playthrough of Skyrim, you can check out the creation over at Nexus Mods along with instructions on how to properly download it. Just don’t come crying to us when you’re swallowed by Drogon.

In other Bethesda-related news, it’s going to get a little bit more expensive to buy the developer’s games in the future, as Microsoft has confirmed it will start charging $70 for exclusive titles built for the Xbox Series X starting in 2023. That means Bethesda RPGs like Starfield and the highly-anticipated Elder Scrolls VI will be a bit dearer for those of you who like to buy your Xbox games rather than play them on Game Pass.
