Comic queen! Kirstie Alley, who died in Dec. 2022 at age 71, made people laugh since the 80s, first breaking out as Rebecca Howe in ‘Cheers’, a role which would earn her an Emmy and a Golden Globe. And over the years she went through more than a few transformations, evolving from rising star to sitcom diva, and later into a queen of camp.
In addition to leading roles in ‘Cheers’ and ‘Veronica’s Closet’, Kirstie conjured giggles in films like ‘Look Who’s Talking’ in 1989 and ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ in 1999. Embracing her over-the-top side, Kirstie competed on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in 2011 and 2012, before later appearing on the Ryan Murphy romp ‘Scream Queens’ in 2016, and appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in the UK in 2018.
Though her fashion sense changed throughout, Kirstie always maintained her signature charm.
