Kate Winslet is one of the most iconic actresses of all-time. She became an international superstar after starring as Rose in the classic film ‘Titanic,’ which earned her a second Academy Award nomination. Kate has appeared in numerous hit movies since then and eventually won an Oscar for her performance as Hanna Schmitz in the 2008 film ‘The Reader.’
Outside of acting, Kate is a loving mother of three. She married her first husband Jim Threapleton in 1998, and had her first daughter Mia in 2000. The couple divorced in 2001, and Kate married her second husband Sam Mendes in 2003, with whom she has one son Joe in 2003. Kate and Sam split up in 2011, and she married Edward Abel Smith the following year, and the pair welcomed their first child Bear Blaze in 2013.
