Ever since RRR found fans in international audiences, there has been some serious awards buzz around the film. And now, it looks like the SS Rajamouli directorial starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is officially making its entry into the awards season in Hollywood.
RRR has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards – Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song for the dance track “Naatu Naatu”. Now, Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli have shared their reaction to the nod.
The director took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Thanks to the jury at @goldenglobes for nominating #RRRMovie in two categories. Congratulations to the entire team…Thanks to all the fans and audience for your unconditional love and support throughout.”

In the Best Non-Ebglish Language film category, RRR is up against All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentina, 1985 and Decision to Leave.


RRR which was released in March this year revolves around two revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju who go up against British rule in India. After winning over audiences in the country, the film became an international sensation within days of its release.
