PUBG: New State crosses the 1 crore download mark on the Google Play Store

Krafton’s newest game, PUBG: New State has crossed the 1 crore download mark on the Google Play Store. The game was launched in iOS and Android on November 11 and managed to reach the milestone mere days after release. Well, this number isn’t too surprising considering the fact that the game had already crossed the 40 million pre-registration mark, which seems to suggest that this number will only increase.

PUBG: New State – Details

PUBG: New State is the first game to launch under the PUBG name since PUBG Mobile was banned in September 2020. Since then, the game did make a comeback of sorts with Battlegrounds Mobile India, which was pretty much the same as PUBG Mobile, albeit with a few tweaks.

PUBG: New State is pretty similar to the classic PUBG battle royale formula where players and or teams battle it out to be the last one standing. The gameplay formula was tweaked a little bit to make things seem fresh. First off, the game is set in the near-futuristic world of 2051. The game currently offers two battle royale maps. One is a new version of the classic Erangel map called Erangel 2051 and a brand new map called Troi. The game also includes weapon customisation, drone store, as well as a player recruitment system. As is the case these days, the game will be updated regularly with new content as well as a season-based service.

If you are an Android user, head to the following link to download and install PUBG New State. The download size for Android varies from phone to phone and on a flagship phone with Snapdragon 888 chipset, it is 1.67GB in size. As for the iOS version, it is 1.2GB in download size.
