Sony Interactive Entertainment has posted an unboxing video for PSVR 2 ahead of the headset’s launch later this month, offering a detailed look at the packaging and the device itself.
The video is presented by PSVR 2’s Kei Yoneyama, Global Product Strategy & Management, who goes into a lot of detail regarding not on the PSVR 2 device itself, but also the packaging, which sees Sony going as environmentally friendly as possible.

Sony will release PSVR 2 on February 22, 2023 and the device will retail for $549.99/£529.99. The device is set to receive over 30 games during its launch window, and Sony has confirmed that over 100 titles are currently in development for PSVR 2.
Meanwhile, the format holder revealed that Cinematic Mode can be used for non-VR PS5 games, similar to how the original PSVR offered the same for regular PS4 games.
