Pokemon Go’s Halloween 2022 festivities continue with the debuts of Zorua and Zoroark

Niantic has planned quite an elaborate Halloween celebration for Pokémon Go fans this year. The event was divided into two parts, where the first introduced Mega Banette and brought back a remixed version of Lavender Town Music amongst a tonne of other bonuses.

Once Part I ended on October 27th, we immediately headed into the second half of this much-awaited event, where trainers were greeted by even more spookiness as a number of Pokémon put on their Halloween costumes. Players will find Pokémon like Vulpix, Ninetales, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, and Gourgeist roaming around in unique costumes.

It seemed as if Niantic had revealed everything that would be part of the Halloween event last week. But it looks like a surprise debutant has appeared!

For the first time, Pokémon Go trainers will be able to get their hands on the Tricky Fox Pokémon Zorua and its evolution Zoroark, the Illusion Fox Pokémon. These Dark-type creatures from Generation five are pretty strong and specialize in tricking their opponents by deceiving them. Zorua will appear in the wild during the event and can be evolved into Zoroark with 50 Candy.

Besides the two of them, trainers will also find Pikachu and Piplup wearing Halloween costumes in the wild. Other Ghost-types and spooky Pokémon will also be seen roaming about. Additionally, players can still access the Halloween Special Timed Research with two kinds of tickets available. A $1.00 ticket grants encounters with Yamask, and a $5.00 option adds extra bonuses like more Candy, an avatar item, and Halloween-themed tasks.

It’s also a good time to gather some friends and go gym hopping as Mega Banette and Origin Forme Giratina will both be available in Raid Battles.

Don’t forget to dress up for the occasion by getting your hands on the Dusclops Costume and Headwrap, Zubat Headband, and Zorua Onesie that is available in the in-game shop.

Stocked up on Poké Balls to catch Zorua? Get your hands on the trickster by downloading Pokémon Go now for free.

Also, redeem these Pokémon Go promo codes soon before they run out!
