Chinese games giant NetEase has set up shop in the UK.
The company has established a new development studio called Spliced based in Manchester. That being said, the outfit is billed as being fully remote or for hybrid work, with Spliced also boasting staff in the US, Canada and other parts of the world.
The studio currently employs around 50 people – according to LinkedIn – including veterans of Rockstar, Activision, EA and Epic Games.
It appears that having a decent working culture is part of Spliced’s foundation, too.

“We have seen what works and what doesn’t, both for people and for games, and are actively building a best of both worlds formula for success.
