Nacon will show LOTR: Gollum and RoboCop in a new presentation next month

French publisher Nacon will be hosting a new presentation next month to show off some of its upcoming titles.

The Nacon Direct presentation will take place on March 9 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, and will “share lots of information about forthcoming games”, according to Nacon.

Nacon has confirmed that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be shown during the stream, as will RoboCop: Rogue City.

They will be joined by Gangs of Sherwood, Ravenswatch and TT3: Ride on the Edge.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum – gameplay reveal

Nacon also says some of its “sports and simulation games catalogue” will also feature during the presentation.

Taking place in parallel to the events described in The Fellowship of the Ring, Gollum is a story-driven action RPG in which players embark on a quest to retrieve the One Ring.

The game, which is being developed and co-published by Daedalic Entertainment, has been delayed numerous times since it was originally revealed in 2019.

Originally scheduled for release in 2021, it was then was announced in May 2022 that the game would be released in September that year for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, with a Switch version to follow later in 2022.

The first gameplay trailer arrived last June, but soon after Nacon and Daedalic said the game had been delayed by “a few months”.

Last month Nacon stated that the game’s new planned launch window is now some time in the six months between April and September 2023.

RoboCop: Rogue City is being handled by the team behind Terminator: Resistance, and will see original RoboCop actor Peter Weller reprising  the role that made him a star in the 1980s.
