Director Anurag Basu has teamed up with producer Bhushan Kumar for a new anthology, Metro… In Dino. Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are all set to team up for the project. This will mark their first collaboration. The project has a star-studded line-up including Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and more.
On Wednesday, Sara Ali Khan took to her social media handle to confirm her role in Metro… In Dino. The actress shared photos alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Pritam and Bhushan Kumar. She captioned the post, “Super excited and grateful to be part of #MetroInDino.”

So far, details of the plot have not been unveiled. However, in a press release, Anurag Basu, who also helmed the 2007 film Life in a… Metro, revealed that Metro… In Dino is a “fresh and relevant” story. The anthology will also feature music by Pritam who served as music director on the previous film.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in Laxman Utekar’s untitled next which also features Vicky Kaushal. She will also be seen in Gaslight with Vikrant Massey. Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in Rashtra Kavach Om.
