A new season is coming to Marvel Snap as fans prepare for the launch of the MCU’s next film, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The movie launches on February 17th and takes everyone on a ride into the elusive Quantum Realm as the little guy, Scott Lang and his daughter Cassie go up against much bigger threats like M.O.D.O.K. and Kang the Conqueror.
But Marvel Snap players will enjoy the Quantum Realm earlier as the card battler launches its most content-heavy season yet. Players can expect new dimensions, steampunk variants, and loads of unexplored regions in this update. The Season Pass features a number of rewards and awesome new character cards like M.O.D.O.K., Ghost, Stature, and Kang the Conqueror.
These characters will release every Tuesday beginning today. In addition to that, new locations from Marvel’s multiverse are also arriving in Snap. Here’s a look at them and the various effects they will cause:
- Camp Lehigh – Adds a random 3-Cost card to all players
- Quantum Tunnel – Swap the card you play here with one in your deck
- Quantum Realm – Cards played here have their base power set to two
- The Sacred Timeline – First to fill gets a copy of their opening hand
February’s update also brings a tonne of new variants for characters inspired by popular artists like Peach Momoko, Dan Hipp, and Kim Jacinto. All the new characters get alternate versions and others like Arnim Zola and Invisible Woman are included too. But the most notable of them all is definitely Hulk who gets the Taco variant from Endgame.
Marvel Snap also recently introduced the new Battle Mode, a feature players have been waiting for. It brings the functionality of taking on family and friends in epic battles and also joining them using shareable codes in 1v1 matches.
