Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course DLC Wave 3 Release Date Revealed

Nintendo has announced the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC Wave 3 release date. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but essentially, eight new tracks are on their way to the Booster Course Pass, consisting entirely of iconic tracks from the series’ history. These tracks will be added to the pass on December 7th.

This time around, courses include an autumnal favorite from Mario Kart Wii, as well as another iteration of Rainbow Road, a spooky lake haunted by Boos, and the royal gardens of Princess Peach’s castle. As with all of the other Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC tracks, the classic courses on offer here have been reworked in terms of visuals, so you won’t have to play on blocky GBA graphics.

Wave 3 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe‘s Booster Course Pass will soon allow you to relive the glory days of Mario Kart Wii.

Here’s a full list of the eight new tracks coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the third wave of the Booster Course Pass DLC.

  • Maple Treeway (Mario Kart Wii)
  • Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 7)
  • Boo Lake (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
  • Berlin Byways (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Rock Rock Mountain (Mario Kart 7)
  • Peach Gardens (Mario Kart DS)
  • London Loop (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Merry Mountain (Mario Kart Tour)

If you want these new tracks, the Booster Course Pass DLC can be acquired in two ways. You can either buy it outright from the Nintendo eShop or grab a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack membership, which will grant you access to the courses for as long as you’re subscribed.

More Mario Kart DLC courses are on their way, too. The Booster Course Pass isn’t done yet, as there are three more waves coming, each of which will add another 8 tracks to the game. When it’s all over, the Booster Course Pass will bring an impressive 48 extra courses, which should be more than enough to keep you going if you’re a Mario Kart fan. This one might cost more than a monthly Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass membership, but it’s arguably much better value for money.
