God Of War Ragnarok PSOne Demake Looks Brilliantly 90s In Concept Trailer

God of War Ragnarok is out now and is rather quite good, so naturally, someone has gone and started making a PSOne remake of the game.

That someone is YouTuber Jackarte, who has come up with a debut trailer for the God of War Ragnarok PSOne demake, which features pixellated versions of Atreus, Freya, Kratos and Thor. If you’ve ever wondered how God of War would look like with PSOne-era graphics, then this is worth a look — after all, the series didn’t debut until the PS2 era.

Keep in mind that this isn’t actually a playable project like previous PSOne demakes, although that could change down the line. Still, it offers a tantalising look at what could be if Kratos and co were reduced to 90s pixellated glory.

Speaking during a recent interview with the LA Times, Sony Santa Monica Studio’s Cory Barlog and Eric Williams revealed that the company is ‘spread out a lot of different things,’ although wouldn’t actually name anything specific.
