Gigi Hadid Shares Beach Vacation Photos With Khai

Gigi Hadid and her daughter, Khai, started the year out right by hitting the beach. The model shared photos from the mommy–daughter trip on Instagram on Jan. 20.

In the first picture, Hadid wrote “Mama [hearts] Khai” in the sand. In the second, she appears to be carrying her 2-year-old, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik, on her shoulders as they walk on the beach. The third photo shows Hadid splashing in the water, with Khai just out of frame. She captioned the carousel, “celebrated the new year w a lil r&r.”

Since Khai was born, Hadid has kept her out of the public eye. While she does occasionally share glimpses of the little one on social media, she never shows her daughter’s face to preserve her privacy. However, when it comes to talking about how being a mom has changed her life, the model is always candid.

In a 2022 interview with Sunday Today, Hadid shared that Khai has been busy hitting milestones. “I think she’s a genius,” she said. “But I think that’s what everyone says about their kid.”

Hadid added, “It’s so much fun. The more that she talks, and understands, and remembers, it just gets more and more fun. And she’s a blessing. She’s so mobile, from so early in the morning. So mobile. Jumping off things. Very brave, which is great, but you know.”

She went on to tell the outlet that she and her daughter were “practicing doing dangerous things carefully,” but it’s clear from their beach photos that mom and daughter duo’s adventurous spirit is still going strong.
