Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is Out Now

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, Square Enix’s remaster of the 2007 PlayStation Portable classic, is now available. It’s out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the accolades trailer below, highlighting critical praise for the title.

Despite being a remaster, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion features heavily revamped visuals, from better-looking textures and redone character models to sharp-looking effects, lighting, and atmospherics. Animations are more or less unchanged, though summon cinematics have been overhauled. Combat is smoother with linkable combos, the ability to use Limit Breaks, more shortcuts for items and magic, and a much more streamlined user interface.

In terms of story-telling, it doesn’t feature any changes or new content additions, but all cutscenes are now fully voiced with English and Japanese language options.
