EV cab service provider Evera raises $7M


New Delhi-based EV cab service provider Evera has raised $7 million (about Rs 60 crore) in its first funding round. The startup’s first tranche saw participation from IEG Investment Banking Group, while Direct Capital and Westova Global invested in the second round.

The startup intends to use the raised capital to expand the its offering across the national capital and expand technological advancements.

Founded in 2019 by Nimish Trivedi, Rajeev Tiwari and Vikas Bansal, Evera provides EV cab service to customers across business-to-customer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) segments.

“We are privileged to have a strong set of prominent global investors who believe in our mission. We have already logged 10 million green kilometres in the Delhi NCR. The current investment will be utilised towards the advancement of tech and expand our business to establish a bigger & stronger customer base,” said Nimish.

At present, Evera operates in Terminal 3 of the New Delhi Airport and has about 238 cabs in its fleet.
