Dragon Quest Island amusement park gets a holiday makeover

Hyogo prefecture’s Dragon Quest Island amusement park has gotten a bit of a makeover for the holiday season. In honor of the season change and upcoming celebrations, the park now has a winter-themed look.

This park makeover has been dubbed “Winter of Onokogard,” and it includes a giant Christmas Santa Slime, as well as other monsters who’ve gotten into the holiday spirit. The Winter of Onokogard limited-time attraction is live right now, and will be on display until Jan. 9th, 2023.

It’s important to note that this limited-time attraction has both holiday-themed elements and general Winter-related content as well. The Christmas decorations will be removed earlier than the Winter content, coming down after Dec. 25th, 2022.
