Destiny 2: Lightfall raid kicks off in four days

Destiny 2 has changed a lot with the release of its latest expansion. Not only does Destiny 2: Lightfall gives you access to a whole new city to discover, but it also adds plenty of new other features: three new playable subclasses, new exotic weapons, significant changes to many in-game mechanics that make the gameplay more exciting and fluid, and a new chapter in the story. These are big enough reasons to buy a Destiny 2: Lightfall CD key with our comparator and take your Guardian to Neomuna, but the addition that most players are still waiting for is the new raid.

The Root of Nightmares

Bungie has confirmed that the new raid in Destiny 2: Lightfall, The Root on Nightmares will become available on March 10. As usual, the world race to complete the new content in Contest mode will start as soon as it’s released. The whole concept of the raid is still unclear but the developer has revealed a description accompanying a screenshot that has left all fans wanting to know more about it.

“Ferried from an unknown time and place, a haunting presence has been detected. We must now confront the ancient threat growing at our doorstep.”

Finding out the best weapon loadout and class combination to overcome the upcoming challenge will be quite fun. Fortunately, Destiny 2 is not too strict on that matter and it’s usually more about execution, so you won’t have to worry if you are yet to explore the expansion in detail.

The Power cap for all the encounters during the race for the world’s first completion of The Root of Nightmares will be 1780, which is fairly close to the level of power you have if you finish the campaign. You still have a few days to go if you want to prepare for the new raid in Destiny 2: Lightfall.
