Crash Team Rumble Announced, Features Fun-Filled 4v4 Online Multiplayer Action

A new Crash title had been a long time coming. It was rumored that it would be announced at The Game Awards 2022, and the rumors turned out to be true. TGA gave us our first look at the new Crash Bandicoot video gaming, titled ‘Crash Team Rumble’.

Crash Team Rumble Details

Crash Team Rumble (CTR) is the first game in the series since 2020’s Crash Bandicoot 4. While Crash 4 mainly focused on single-player action and local co-op, the newest entry takes things online. CTR brings back all the chaotic fun energy from the iconic Crash Bash into a unique gameplay experience. You can watch the trailer here:

The trailer brings back a lot of characters from the universe, all into a single world to fight against each other. You can play as Crash, Dingodile, Coco, Tawna, Dr. Cortex, and a host of other friends and foes. The official Crash site gives an insight into what we can actually expect from the game:

Crash Team Rumble is a 4v4 team-based competition where the iconic heroes and villains of the Crash universe battle to capture more Wumoa Fruit than the other to claim victory. Each hero has a unique skills and abilities to strategically use to work together to battle the opposing team, defend their own Wumpa Bank, and capture key points around the map to help their team.

Crash Team Rumble has been developed by Toys for Bob, the same team behind Crash 4 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The latest entry in the Crash universe comes out in 2023 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. We love the initial trailer and can’t wait to see more of it in the future.
