Cole Bryson Tucker was born on July 3, 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona, where he got his start in baseball through several school teams. After playing college baseball at the University of Arizona. He made his professional debut in the MLB with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2019, staying with the team until 2022 — when he was outrighted by the Arizona Diamondbacks before being elected a free agent and ultimately signing a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies.
