A much loved, slightly weird, action adventure, the original Axiom Verge picked up some huge acclaim. In fact, sitting here now, we’re seeing it running an 85 on Metacritic. For a solo developed game, that’s some going.
So hopes are high with Axiom Verge 2 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This one expands on what came before it, building in terms of new characters, skills, abilities and gameplay ideas.

Axiom Verge 2 provides a host of different gameplay elements. Ultimately a wicked action adventure, it’ll have you trying to make sense of the strange lands you are on. A remote drone will come to the fore, monsters will need battling, machines will require a hack. In fact, you’ll have to utilise everything around you, just in order to survive.
